Get to know it
Saltmere faces the kind of sky you stop noticing everywhere else. Thirty-one acres on the soft edge of the North Norfolk coast, where the garden ends in samphire and the evening entertainment is whatever the tide brings in. Thirty-four homes, a boardwalk to the marsh, and neighbours worth the name. Samphire in June, seals in September, geese by the thousand in November.
Life at Saltmere
Every Dreeym community keeps the essentials — The Hearth, a guest suite for family, a workshop, allotments, EV charging — and then adds what the land suggests.
The social heart
The Hearth at Saltmere has a telescope, a tide table and the county's most contested quiz night. Chowder Fridays, October to March.
The grounds
The marsh does not need improving; it needs leaving alone. Our covenant maps the reed line, the creek and the rough grazing as permanent — the homes sit shoulder-to-shoulder with a working landscape that changes twice a day.

Pets are welcome — no breed rules, no numbers limit, no extra fee. These are the current incumbents.

The straight answers
The rest — the law, the ledger, the 10% rule — lives in the Open Book.
The pitch fee is £210 a month, CPI-pegged, reviewed once a year — grounds, boardwalk, hide and Hearth included. Council tax Band A. The full ledger is in the Open Book.
It’s the coast: it blows. The homes are built to BS 3632 residential standard, triple-glazed seaward, and cheap to keep warm — winter here is the point, not the price.
Dreeym, outright. You own your home and licence your plot under a written Mobile Homes Act 1983 agreement.
